Buffalo Oaks Plantation is 900 acres nestled deep in the alluring woods made up of rolling hills, hardwood bottoms, and cypress swamps just outside Natchez, Mississippi. We are 15 miles north of Woodville, Mississippi off Highway 61 and 16 miles south of Natchez, Mississippi between the Homochitto and Buffalo Rivers in Wilkinson County.
Buffalo Oaks Plantation is owned by former MLB player, Ben McDonald and was established in 1999. It has been intensely managed to become the ideal hunting experience. Because Mississippi is one of the few states that does not allow game to be brought in, management is extremely important to us all deer are born and raised on the property. You will not experience an artificial hunting situation. We pride ourselves in being the perfect combination of high fence hunting and fair chase hunting.
The accommodations for your stay are as inviting as the hunting. You will stay in a 4,000 sq. ft. lodge. The lodge has been decorated using a mixture of old cypress and stone to give it a luxury cabin feel. The open kitchen is the perfect place to come back to for a good meal and great conversation! You can also relax on the back porch while overlooking our 55 acre stocked lake. This is truly a rare place where you have the option to hunt native whitetail, fish in a private lake and also duck hunt once you have harvested your monster buck.
Packages include lodging, transportation to and from Baton Rouge airport, meals, and a one on one guide.
